Animals Should Not Be Kept in Zoos I absolutely believe animals should not be kept in zoos for these reasons; same habitat everyday, losing their natural skills,and always being watched. Firstly the same habitat everyday. Imagine you’re locked in a cage from the date of your birth to the date of your death. Animals have been treated like that that for ages. You can even tell by looking at sorrow in their eyes. Secondly,losing natural skills. Twice I went to Auckland zoo and twice I saw the animals lying or standing lazily. Animals in the zoos are not active,they do those lazy things for ¾ of one day. They will lose all of their natural skills if we don’t stop this now. Lastly they had always being watched. Imagine you’re an animal and you have to go to the toilet in front of other animals and humans. Some animals was joked at like, ”That’s a really stupid face,” Isn’t that disrespectful,Imagine it was you. Do you think an animal should be kept in zoos?All these things I’ve talked about involve Freedom! You have freedom and animals need it too.

Celebrating Maths Week with the Maths Fairy

The forest

As I walk on the old dirt road I can feel the sun shine over the golden leaves.

When l look up higher the rainbow is a giant slide that goes across the vast blue sky.

The cloud is a giant, moving cotton candy.

Birds sang sweetly as they were in an opera.

There was a little pond that is beside the forest.

I can smell the sweet scent of the lotus flower.

As the lily pads were floating frogs danced across them.

As darkness fell, the sun looked like  a humongous peach that has being gobbled down.

It is almost night time and there are creepy yellow eyes looking at me.

I Must go home before it gets too dark.

Desert

FEEL

As I walked through the desert my feet sank into the boiling sand. My feet burn so i pull my feet out as fast as I can. I’m so hot  that I  feel I could  pass out and I can feel the hot heat raze.My eyes burn from the sun and they are now red and sore.I keep trying to walk but my feet start to ache even more. I finally tried to walk and I burnt my feet so I was really relieved when I saw a camel passing by so I hopped onto it I was exhausted after all the walking.The suns rays are a heater on a way-too-high heat.

SEE

As I rode the humpy camel a wave of scenery rushed by. A cartwheeling , spider he cartwheeled down a hill. A rattle snake slithered along and the camel  ran as fast as a cheetah to get away from it . The sand shone a golden brown colour the sand dunes looked 5000 meters high. I spotted a tumbling weed rolling by. my eyes started to play tricks on me and i thought i saw a cheetah

HEAR   I could hear the soft whooshing wind ,it showed no mercy to annoy me. It was so quiet i was forced to listen to the faint sound of the camel

hooves on the sand .The wind started up not so strong

and I heard it whistle quietly in my ear.

TASTE

I found out what sand tastes like!it wasn't  very nice it made my mouth all gritty

                              WETLANDS
As I aproached the wetland my eyes were drawn towards the 
swamp.Rocks wore coats of fluffy moss.The frogs were performing a dance through the water.Lilly pads looked like boats floating around the river.It's a peaceful place.Birds were finding fishes and some were flying.It looks like they were balerinas.I can smell the wetness of the wetland.Group of wild mushrooms live together in the forest.The water was cristal clear  ,fish jump out of the water like waving hello,it was so delightful.I can see a royal army of ants passing by,looks like they're unstopable.A field full of grass,it look like green sea.Soon I reach the damp forest.The mud swirld and twirled.Some trees had wetas.I can hear the sound of screaming winds.I think I've got goose bumps on my body. I can feel scrachy bushes.
